WANGSKIN Moisture Soothing Cream 50g Review

This is based on my personal opinion after using this product for about a month.

The cream is designed to provide an adequate supply of moisture to the skin and aims to protect from the external environment. It contains natural oils from rice bran, avocado, apricot kernel, sweet almond, and olive which can keep the skin moisturized and nourished. No skin-irritating substances such as talc, parabens, and mineral oil are contained, and thus this product is suitable for people with sensitive skin.

Dry skin is usually caused by environmental conditions, and it is particularly prevalent during the autumn (fall) and winter as the humidity levels drop. I usually find it hard to keep my skin moisturized and hydrated.

For your information, there is a difference between the term Hydrating and Moisturizing.

1. Dehydrated skin lacks water and therefore needs to be hydrated
2. Dry skin lacks oil and needs to be moisturized.

It is rather important to distinguish between these two skin conditions but many products or brands do not seem to indicate them properly.

I liked the fact that this has a weak fragrance. Not too strong.

Some people may prefer stronger scent but I feel that stronger ones may contain more artificial chemicals in it.

As you can see, the cream is well-balanced, viscous yet not too heavy.

It feels very smooth and soft. The cream contains natural oils but it is not at all sticky and very well absorbed by my skin.

I have been using this cream for a month during this Fall/Autumn. Regular Toner & Lotion (Cream) are not enough to moisturize my face. I can feel my face getting dry within minutes and the skin gets very tight and flaky over time.

So I apply this WANGSKIN Moisture Soothing Cream after Toner and other creams.

And it does work wonders!

I hope you can see the difference. I only applied a small amount on my left hand and it looked much more moisturized.

It feels like having a layer of moisturizing protection without the feeling of it actually being there! My skin is definitely getting enough oxygen.
